DN20-DN110
VSJOCO
Fluid enters the strainer through the inlet, passes through the mesh screen where solid contaminants are trapped, and exits through the outlet. The Y-shaped configuration creates minimal flow resistance, resulting in low initial pressure loss. This design also allows for inline installation with limited space requirements and simplifies mesh removal for cleaning.
PVDF outperforms PP, PVC and 316L stainless steel in many corrosive conditions due to its high fluorine content molecular structure. It maintains structural integrity when exposed to hydrofluoric acid (HF), hydrochloric acid (HCl) and nitric acid (HNO₃). Unlike metal alternatives, PVDF does not leach ions into process fluids, making it suitable for ultrapure water and pharmaceutical applications. It also resists UV degradation and weathering for outdoor installations.
Continuous operating temperature: -40℃ to 120℃
Short-term peak temperature tolerance: 150℃
Maximum working pressure: 1.0 MPa (PN10 standard)
Burst pressure: ≥3.0 MPa (tested per ISO 1402 standards)
Filtration Grade | Precision Range | Typical Use Case |
|---|---|---|
Coarse Filtration | 100–500 μm | Pump, valve and compressor protection |
Precision Filtration | 20–100 μm | Process media purification, instrument protection |
Available nominal diameters range from DN20 to DN110, with custom options extending to DN15-DN200. Connection types comply with DIN, ANSI and JIS standards to match existing pipeline configurations.
These strainers withstand most inorganic acids, organic solvents and salt solutions. They are not recommended for use with concentrated alkaline solutions (pH >12) and certain ketone-based solvents. A full compatibility chart is available upon request.
Used in ultrapure water production systems, etching solution filtration lines and wafer cleaning processes. The non-metallic construction prevents metal ion contamination that could damage sensitive semiconductor components.
Installed in sulfuric acid and HCl transfer pipelines, solvent recovery systems and raw material pretreatment lines. They protect downstream equipment from abrasive and corrosive particulates.
Applied in electroplating wastewater treatment, pickling solution pretreatment and industrial cooling water systems. Their corrosion resistance extends service life in harsh wastewater environments.
Suitable for water for injection (WFI) filtration, culture media impurity removal and CIP cleaning system protection. The material meets FDA food contact requirements for pharmaceutical applications.
For optimal performance, select a strainer size that maintains a flow velocity of 1–3 m/s. Velocities above 3 m/s increase pressure drop and accelerate mesh wear, while velocities below 1 m/s reduce filtration efficiency.
Pump and valve protection: 300–500 μm
General process filtration: 100–300 μm
Precision instrument protection: 50–100 μm
Ultrafine process purification: 20–50 μm
Initial pressure loss across a clean strainer is less than 0.02 MPa. Cleaning is required when the differential pressure between inlet and outlet exceeds 0.1 MPa to prevent flow restriction and potential pipeline damage.
All units undergo 100% hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times working pressure before shipment. Material composition analysis and chemical resistance testing are performed on every production batch. The manufacturing process is certified to ISO 9001 standards, and all products carry CE and RoHS markings. A 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects, with 24/7 technical support available for installation and troubleshooting.
Yes, PVDF is one of the few materials that maintains structural integrity when exposed to hydrofluoric acid concentrations up to 40% at room temperature.
Cleaning frequency depends on fluid contaminant levels. Monitor differential pressure and clean when it reaches 0.1 MPa.
Yes, interchangeable meshes are available in all precision ranges from 20 μm to 500 μm.
PN10 units support a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa, while PN16 units are rated for 1.6 MPa, making them suitable for higher-pressure pipeline systems.
Yes, PVDF material resists UV degradation and weathering, allowing for outdoor installation without additional protective coatings.
