Core Characteristics
Exceptional Corrosion Resistance
Withstands strong acids (e.g., concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid), strong alkalis, organic solvents, and oxidizers. Its chemical stability is second only to PTFE, suitable for media across the entire pH range of 0-14.
Broad Temperature Range Compatibility
Can operate long-term in environments from -80°C to +200°C, with short-term temperature resistance up to 260°C, while maintaining flexibility under alternating high/low-temperature conditions.
Kink-Resistance and Crush Protection
The spring sheath (typically SUS304 stainless steel or PVC-coated steel wire) provides resistance to crushing and vacuum pressure. The minimum bending radius can be as low as twice the tube diameter, preventing line kinking.
High Transparency and Non-Stick Properties
The transparent PFA inner wall allows for real-time visual monitoring of the fluid. The surface tension (≤19 dyn/cm) ensures no residue remains, even with high-viscosity media.
